Introduction

Maahad Academy warmly welcomes you and your family as part of our School Fraternity. The Academy is a fully accredited private Islamic School by the Ministry of Education, located opposite Pangani Shopping Centre along Bujumbura Road (Fairview Rd).

The Academy is a project of G.T.I.P established for the sake of Allah (SWT), as it believes that our children are the future of Muslim Communities.

We at the Academy strive to prepare our students to succeed in a changing and diverse world by providing them with a safe and healthy environment, dedicated to high academics and values anchored in Islamic teachings expressed in the Qur’an and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)

The School opened its doors in March 2008 with only one student. The school was established by the Principal of Girls Training Institute who wanted an alternative to Public Schools for her children and the Muslim Ummah’s children at large.

By the beginning of the second year, enrollment rose to 30 students.  By the year 2013, our sixth year of operation, enrollment had grown to 120 students. This year 2014 the enrolment has hit a maximum number of160 syudents.
