About Maahad TeachersTraining College

MTTC at a glance

Due to the demand of Arabic and IRE teachers in various schools at their different levels, MTTC was initiated in 2013 to cater to the need of skilful trained teachers in the society in a Muslim oriented environment. The first intake was done on 6/1/2014.

Registered under the Ministry of Education and examined by Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC).

It was initiated by the sponsor body, Girls Training Institute Pangani (Maahad) which is under the Kenyan Society Act and is fully operational with a board of Governors and Trustees. The body came into presence in 1987 by offering Higher Islamic Education to Muslim females after secondary education. Several other projects have been initiated by the board.
