Teachers Training College
Due to the demand of Arabic and IRE teachers in various schools at their different levels, MTTC was initiated in 2013 to cater to the need of skilful trained teachers in the society in a Muslim oriented environment. The first intake was done on 6/1/2014.
Registered under the Ministry of Education and examined by Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC). It was initiated by the sponsor body, Girls Training Institute Pangani (Maahad) which is under the Kenyan Society Act and is fully operational with a board of Governors and Trustees. The body came into presence in 1987 by offering Higher Islamic Education to Muslim females after secondary education. Several other projects have been initiated by the board.

Islamic College
An institute of higher Islamics/Arabic offered to young ladies after O level using Arabic as the medium of study. The course is tailored for anyone who is interested in either embarking in a career of Islamic teaching or in Daawa.
Several young Muslimahs undertake the course for spiritual enlightenment. The course of 3 to 4 years comprises of compulsory boarding with two yearly holidays. To date more than 500 young Muslimahs have graduated.
Maahad is a chance for each Muslimah who would desire to have a closer relation to her Creator and yet to be intellectually empowered. Ilmu deen as we know is obligatory.

Maahad Academy warmly welcomes you and your family as part of our School Fraternity. The Academy is a fully accredited private Islamic School by the Ministry of Education, located opposite Pangani Shopping Centre along Bujumbura Road (Fairview Rd).
The Academy is a project of G.T.I.P established for the sake of Allah (SWT), as it believes that our children are the future of Muslim Communities.
We at the Academy strive to prepare our students to succeed in a changing and diverse world by providing them with a safe and healthy environment, dedicated to high academics and values anchored in Islamic teachings expressed in the Qur’an and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)
The School opened its doors in March 2008 with only one student. The school was established by the Principal of Girls Training Institute who wanted an alternative to Public Schools for her children and the Muslim Ummah’s children at large. By the beginning of the second year, enrollment rose to 30 students. By the year 2013, our sixth year of operation, enrollment had grown to 120 students. This year 2014 the enrolment has hit a maximum number of160 syudents.
